Sentence

Hi

Is everything OK with the sentence below:

After returning to Denmark after nearly 10 years, has been educating kids and adults at all levels in his native language of German.

Shouldn't I put "he" or "she" before "has been educating"?

You should put "he" in front of " has been educating" to agree with "...in HIS native language..."

Hi

But is it really necessary? Is it wrong the way it has been written?

Yes it is necessary

Hi,

A sentence needs a subject.

Or is this something you are trying to write in 'point form' for some reason?

Hi

OK "he" is needed.

What if I wrote "in his native language of English". Is that correct? Because there was something wrong with German.

Thanks

Hi,

After returning to Denmark after nearly 10 years, he has been educating kids and adults at all levels in his native language of German.

. . . in his native language of German. This is fine, although not common or casual. It is just another way of saying in his native language, which is German.

Hi

So, in his native language, which is German is better?

How about: In his native language of English.

Is the situation the same here? And it's better to say: In his native language, which is English.

Thanks

It's the same for all languages.
