Hello M88

I'm not quite sure of your meaning here; but maybe:

'When we exit from the house, we must check we didn't forget our keys, the purse and of course the cellular phone.'

Or:

'When we leave the house, we must check we didn't forget our keys, our purses and of course our mobile phones.'

Hi MrP,
my intention was to describe a situation, when we leave our homes.
I hope it can be like this:
'When we exit from the house, we always check whether\if we didn't forget our keys, the purse and of course the cellular phone.'
I mean, that I say, that when we get out we always insure we didn't forget...

In that case, perhaps:

'When we leave home, we always make sure we haven't forgotten our keys, purses, and mobile phones.'

Yeah that's great, thanks.
Another question: why do you use "leave house\home" or why "come back from school" is the proper form and not "come back from THE school"? Why "to go to church" and not "to a church". I was taught that singular countable nouns will be always preceded by an article. Could you please explain that point to me? Thanks
