Could someone tell me what 'minor sentence' is and if 'Damn you!' is one?

Hi, I hadn't encountered this term, so I searched via Google. If you do that, you can find quite a lot of definition and discussion about this. The meaning seems to be that it is a sentence fragment, possibly even just one word, from which you can understand a complete meaning.
