sent from my iPhone

Hi guys

a quick query
the sentence "sent from my iPhone" sounds redundant and wanted some opnion on this. is this sentence correct?

this line usually appears at the bottom of an email sent from a iPhone and is a template set by iphone itself

shouldnt it just be"sent using iPhone" since its a device and it doesnt matter if its my iphone

appreciate your comments

Mo

First, "sent from my iPhone" is not a sentence. There is no subject, and "sent" is a participle, not a verb. Second, it is a signature on an email that was sent from your phone, so "my" is OK.
