sensual

The commercial they were running in Japan at the time was pretty sensual, like a scene from Dirty Dancing.

Why does the author prefer sensual over sexual or sexy?
Thanks.

Hi, I don't know. I'd usually use the word to describe a person, or at least some experience or thing that is closely associated with a person who 'feels' it. I don't remember seeing a commercial that I would describe as 'sensual'.
