Sense of humor

It means crazy and not typical or usual. I think "ludicrous" is a good word here also, as indicated in the dictionary definition of http://www.answers.com/main/ntquery?s=zany.

eg Tom has a good sense of humour. Mary has a poor sense of humour.

In simple terms, this means that Tom sees easily that things are funny, but Mary does not.
