Sense and reference

Hi i just want to know if one of the following sentences have a sense or reference in sematics ? and why ?

1) The present king of France is bald .

2 ) By the year 3000,our descendants will have left Earth .

I am familiar with the first example. It has no reference because France is now a republic. I suppose that the second one also contains some sort of semantic barrier?
