sensation or feeling

Could you tell me if this all make sense and how you would phrase this?

I hate the sensation feeling of gel on my hands after I've rinsed my hands because even after I've rinsed my hand my hands are still slimy have this slimy feel to them. To get rid of that feeling I need to rinse thoroughly for 2 minutes.
