Vocabulary

send a life? / (as) ... as possible

Hello, this is my first visit to englishforum.com.
There are two questions:

1. I want to mean by "send a life" to live somewhere for some time (from short to long). In my sense, "live a life", "send a life" ,etc. could have a similar meaning. Can I say "send a life" in that way? In additon, I'm curious about the difference in meaning among them.

2. "I want it to be warm all the year as possible." Can I abbreviate the first-coming "as" in the phrase "as ... as possible"?

* * *

If there are any other awkward or ambiguous English expressions in the whole sentenses, I'd like to be aware of them. This is my first positing, so I'm nervous at whether I had violated any rules of this forum. Anyway, if you don't mind, please help me!

1. There is no English expression "send a life". "live a life" is possible, e.g., "He lives a life of luxury". But if you want to describe where someone lives, just say e.g. "He lives in London", "We live in Tokyo".

2. "I want it to be warm all the year as possible" is not correct. You can say "I want it to be as warm as possible all year".

Oh, partially yes. I made a mistake in the second "send a life." I should have written "spend a life" instead.
So, with correction, my first question was whether I could say "send a life" like "spend a life", "live a life", etc.

But, anyway, thanks for the two replies, I understood the fo

Be aware that "spend a life", especially, normally suggests a whole life.
