Semicolon or no semicolon?

What I'm trying to say is that I get an adrenalin rush when I see tigers in the wild. Would the following be correct?

" I love seeing tigers in the wild; I get an adrenalin rush when I see them."

My reason for inserting a semicolon is that I want to show the connection between the two sentences. I wondered if a full stop would make the reader ask " When does this person get an adrenalin rush - when they see tigers in the wild, or when they see tigers generally?"

Am I right to insert a semicolon instead of a full stop?

Thank you. So the reader would automatically know that I'm saying I get an adrenalin rush when I see tigers in the wild, rather than seeing them in general?

Could I use an em dash instead of a full stop or semicolon?

Also, would these be suitable alternatives?

"I love seeing tigers in the wild. I get an adrenalin rush when I do."
"I love seeing tigers in the wild. It gives me an adrenalin rush."

Many thanks

Thank you, Alphecca.

Would someone be kind enough to answer my earlier post, please? I would appreciate it. Thank you. I'd be lost without this forum.
