Semicolon on parenthetical marks?

Writing a disclosure for financial statements and wanted a second opinion in regards to puncuation.

" All borrowings are at the bank's discretion and bear interest at the bank's prime interest rate plus 1.25% per annum; 4.5% and 8.5% at December 31, 2008 and 2007, respectively."

I'm thinking the semicolon should be dropped and parenthetical marks should be inserted. Any thoughts?

Sorry for any spelling errros
