Hi guys,
I am applying for a scholarship and instead of asking me to upload a motivation letter, they have asked me to answer five questions without exceeding 1000 character. I know my writing is not really good so I would be grateful if you can check my grammar and cohesion. Any suggestion is welcome

Thank you in advance

Please write the subject on which you plan to work in a postgraduate program in Turkey.Structures and architecture have always been of a particular appeal to me since my professional objective is to design conceivable yet distinct structures. To fulfill this goal, I majored in civil engineering for Bachelor studies which acquainted me with how structures work. However, I have decided to pursue architecture for my Higher Education in order to be able to design buildings professionally. Thus, I would like to work or research on either Cybernetic Architecture or Sustainable Architecture as they are two of my favorite fields of architecture. Indeed, since advanced technologies have changed our approach to architecture, I want to study and investigate fields relating to Energy efficiency in construction in order to deal with today’s major challenges such as the increasing need for sustainable buildings or environmentally friendly building materials.
2.
Please specify importance of the subject you tend to work on, your background related to subject and what your contribution will be.I believe our modern world demands new approaches and solutions to architecture and its problems. Innovative designs and practical solutions are being rendered everyday by architects regarding to more environmentally friendly structures, which highlights the importance of Sustainable or Cybernetic structures. Moreover, Subjects like Zero Energy Homes are trending now since our generation has decided to use clean energies more efficiently for having a better life and cleaner planet. Nevertheless I believe my background in Civil Engineering and my extra studies on architecture will be quite helpful in my research and study on mentioned subjects as I already have necessary information on environment and buildings. I addition, I hope that my multidisciplinary approach to architecture and my fondness for advanced building technologies, expand the frontiers of sustainable or cybernetic architecture and bridge these two disciplines for more progressive designs.

If there are any prominent universities or academicians in Turkey concerning your case study, please provide information about them.I tend to think that since my Bachelor’s degree is in civil engineering, any sub-discipline of Architecture, being Architectural Design or Architecture itself, would be a proper course. However, due to my favorite subjects, Cybernetic Architecture or Sustainable Architecture, I would be very fortunate to study in the following courses: Architecture in Middleast Technical University, Architectural Design or Environmental Control and Building Technology in Istanbul Technical University. All these courses embody necessary disciplines I need to learn.
Nevertheless, I am also than interested to participate in Computerized Architecture and Building Research and planning in Yildiz Technik University. However, I have not passed a GRE Test; therefore I am not sure that I would meet the requirements. Although, I am not able to take this test until the deadline, in case that I would eligible for these programs without this test, I can take it before enrollment.

Please provide information about your plans after completing your post-graduate study. As for my future, I have plans to continue my studies to PhD level in order to truly accomplish my goal of becoming a professional architecture. Depending on my master’s degree education, I like to further my knowledge in disciplines relating to Sustainable or Cybernetic Architecture and innovation in construction. In addition, I also have plans to research on new and possible lateral loading systems inspired by nature, for an instance tree rings. This sort of research requires professional training and great knowledge over both architecture and civil engineering that I yet need to acquire. However, I believe my self-motivation will propel me to attain my goals during my academic journey. Indeed, I am a perpetual self-challenger and Interactive Architecture has the potential to give me a chance to work and research
in fields that I truly enjoy while challenging me to excel constantly.

Please express the reasons for your department/program of study preferences and briefly explain how your educational background relates to your preferencesAlthough I studied civil engineering for Bachelor's degree, it was after studying Santiago Calatrava’s unique works that I was inspired to study architecture in Master’s degree. His comprehension in both engineering and architecture enabled him to merge the boundaries of imagination in order to design structural masterpieces. Ever since, I studied architecture professionally to strengthen my foundation and acquire essential skills, theoretically and practically. In addition, I always had an eye for innovation and pioneering technologies, as they are inseparable with any field of science and art nowadays. As a civil engineering student I am well skilled in various structural analysis and design software. However, I enrolled in classes in architectural software to broaden my computational skills in designing and be more prepared for future courses. Therefore, I need to attend the right Architecture program to give my path a direction, help me design feasible and sustainable structures.
