Semi-formal email: I would like to offer my sincere thanks...

Hi

Could you please tell me if the following lines read naturally as semi-formal email? Any suggestion is welcome.

I would like to offer my sincere thanks to you for all the care you have shown over the past six years. It is your sheer professionalism as a leader and genuine consideration [or compassion?] as a person that cause all those who are or have been a part of your team to hold you in high esteem.

Thanks,

Tom
