Grammar

Semi-colon, Comma and AND

Hi all,

Let me know if this is a grammatically correct sentence:

The 2008 highlights were Bobby and Nihal’s brand of music and 1 Xtra and Continental Drifts bringing in urban Asian beats at the London Flavas; Desi Beats, Hip Hop, Drum n Bass and Electro as well some old party favourites eclectically blended by DJs featured at the BBC Asian Network mix tent.

Is the semi-colon used properly. I am not too sure about my comma usage either.

Clive,

I consider you as a good friend. I don't need to be formal with you. Do I? [<:o)]

'Please' do not consider my not addressing all the friends at this super forum as being bossy.

I am too ignorant about grammatical English and will always learn from great guys like you.

Thanks,

Vijay
