sell for VS sell at

I'm a translator. I translated a press release into English from Korean yesterday and got the text reviewed by a native today.

There is a thing I can't agree with the reviewer. I want to hear from you on the forum. Thanks in advance.

however, the company had previously sold products only forat the retail market.

The underlined words are added by the reviewer. The 'at' is mine.

I thought cost(eg:$100, a dollar, etc) would be after the 'for'. Is it legit that a place or a target is after the 'for' above?

The underlined words are added by the reviewer. The 'at' is mine. I cannot speak to 'previously', but it is irrelevant to the 'to/for' problem.
