Self-study English literacy for English 14-year-olds living abroad
Hello all,
I teach English as a second language in France and this year I have 2 English girls, aged 14, who have moved from England to France with their families. Of course, what I teach (EFL) is irrelevant to them. Yet, I'd like them to progress in written English and general literacy skills. I'm therefore looking for a self-study book with answers so that they can work on their own. There can't be any teacher input into it since I have no classroom time for them.
Let me know if such a publication exits. Can it be ordered on the the Internet?
I really appreciate your help in this matter because I'm not aware of the requirements of the English national curriculum and I'm doing this as a favour to these pupils.
