Self-started/team worker

Hi guys,

Is this word "self-started" used for persons?

And is the word "team worker" often used?

Thanks

Yes. Both expressions describe people who are willing workers. A self-starter is one who works well without supervision and doesn't need to be prodded.

Thanks Avangi,

As for self-started, what I wanted to know was whether the word as an adjective form is used for persons, like "self-started person" or "He is self-started." ?

What do you think about this?

Thanks again

Hi guys,
The adjective here is 'self-starting', not 'self-started'.

Typical things that are said on resumes are
I am a self-starter.
I am self-starting,hard-working, . . . .

Best wishes, Clive

I would also suggest "team player" rather than "team worker," OR "works well in teams."
