Essay & Composition Writing

Selected/screened

I have revised the following resume originally written by a student. Please help me make it sound natural. Thanks a lot.

My name is Wei Lun Lo. I was born in Taoyuan and grew in Hsinchu, Taiwan. My family is a nuclear family and there are four members in my family. My father is an English teacher teaching in a junior high school. My mother is a thrifty housewife, who is the boss in my family. I have a younger sister, who is still a college student that majors in multimedia design in Shih Chien University. As for me, I received Bachelor’s degree in Engineering System Science from National Tsing Hua University in 2015 and are now studying electronic engineering for master’s degree in National Chiao Tung University.

I am very active in sport ?eld and involving in club activities. In 2015, I won champion of Freshman Cup of badminton in NCTU. Besides, when I studied in NTHU, I joined the club of Health Care and Entertainment Guidance, which mainly focus on helping high school students with learning disabilities, and participated in service activities for disadvantaged juveniles. Through these processes of helping others, I gained valuable experiences, such as the ability of leadership, good managerial skills and organizational capabilities.

For my academic years, I believe I am an extremely ?t and diligent person who has a great deal of experience in Analog IC design ?eld. In 2014 summer, I was selected to Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) doing a two-month academic research. I had gained great analog knowledge by discussion with Lab classmates there. They sel?essly shared their analog-designing experiences and those were valuable. In March 2017, I am going to be screened to UCLA for research collaboration. I believe I have the ability to embrace the challenges in the future and be competitive with other analog designers.

I would appreciate you take your time in reviewing my personal resume and thank you for considering my application. I would welcome an opportunity to meet with you for an interview. I am really looking forward to being part of your company.
