race. It seizes with avidity upon any incidents..

I'm having hard time comprehending the sole meaning of it. Anyone?

Thanks

Huzaifa Asif I'm having hard time comprehending the sole meaning of it. I'm not surprised! The sentence is structured as if someone were trying to use 'elite' language (he or she isn't really very capable of).

People will make up myths if they see any repeated coincidence between a situation and the result of an action.

For example, when I scratch my nose, the wind blows. So I assume that there is a connection. People might believe in the myth that my nose-scratching has magical powers.
