Seems vs. seems to be

A. The question seems to be very difficult.
B. The question seems very difficult.

Which of the above sentences is correct?
If both are correct, how are they different in meaning?

There's little to distinguish one from the other. Both examples are correct. They express the same, perhaps "seems to be" does add a slightly stronger note, I don't know.

There's little to distinguish one from the other. Both examples are correct. They express the same, perhaps "seems to be" does add a slightly stronger note, I don't know.

Thanks Alex for sharing your input. To me as well, 'seems to be' gives stronger emphasis.
