Seems like VS Seems to

How would you say these following sentences please?

- It seems to work/to be working/like it's working.
- It seems like the bread was cooked 2 days ago./seems like the bread is days old. It's so hard.

Could you tell me how you would say these 3 sentences too please?

- Some people who don't have diploms can do a diplomees job better than the diplomee.
- The beer in france has nothing to do with the beer in belgium. Belgium beer is so much better.

- Is it a little calmer at work or is it as busy as before?
