seems like

HI everyone, Does this sentence seem ok to you?

"You seem like there's something wrong."

I'm not sure what it is about it, but it seems a bit off. Does anyone else feel the same? Or are my spidey senses on the blink. If so, can anyone pinpoint WHY it's dodgy?

Thanks in advance

'Seem like' is rather casual, plus 'you' and 'there' conflict. It is a common enough utterance in conversation, I am sure. I don't see what Spiderman has to do with it.

Right. The sentence appears to be saying It seems (to me) that you — there's something wrong, which makes no sense. You need something like the following.

It seems that there's something wrong.
You are acting as if something is wrong.
You seem uncomfortable. Is there something wrong?
