seemingly means, that something seems to be the case but it's not.
apparently gives the possibility to be true.

e.g. "Tom is seemingly in love with Rachel" (but he's not)

a stundent with rather bad marks in general got a good mark in an essay. Teacher: xy is apparently able to write good stories on his own.
