0 The lyrics was taken from a site in the Web and it's the first sentence of the song "Only You" by Platters. When you hear the song, the word "do" is, without a doubt, pronounced: Only you can DO make this worl seems right. I thought that this "do" was an "emphatic do", so I have no doubts about it. 00It's years since I heard this song, and as far as I recall, you can hear "do", as you describe. I think you'll find it is actually "doo" - and is sung by the backing singers, not the soloist; as such it is part of the backing or accompanying music, and not part of the lyrics.[8] 02br

001) Why seem and not seemS (this world is third person!) 02br
002) Why bright and not brightS (the darkness is third person) 02br
003) What's the meaning of "For it's true"? 02br
004) Sorry, but I don't know what's the meaning of "doo" 02br

00Let's give it a try: 02br
02br
001. "the world" is the object of the sentence, and "you" is the subject, therefore the verb is agreeing with the subject. "You make (something) seem (to be something)" 02br
02br
00"You make the world seem to be right" 02br

0 Ok, abbie1948, now I got it, I believe! Thank you ever so much! 02br
00By the way, I searched in Google the lyrics of this song and there is no "do" there, so now I regret saying what I said in my first post about the "do". But I've learned about "for" as "because", more about subjects and objects in a sentence, more about and some sounds...; I'm going to search how in English you
