I would like to seek comments on grammar and structure for the following email of a proposal.
By discussing with ABC company this week pertaining to the defective monitoring system at a building, I proposed to use the existing spare electronic devices, which were designed for controlling air conditioners in past, to replace the defective electronic devices. Technically, ABC company agreed it is a feasible means to relaunch the function of monitor and control of the air conditioning system.
In light of the current situation, the proposal is intrinsically a short-term measure to resolve the problem due to the existing electronic devices put in services over 20 years.
