Seeking comments on a email for the defects of air conditioner

I would like to seek someone to make comments on the following email for the defects of a new air conditioner.

Dear Henry

Referring to the test for the new air conditioner and building automation system of the ABC building on 02 and 10 Dec 2021, we identified some defects shown below.

  1. The new air conditioner was found to be normal for stand-alone operation, but it failed when coinciding with other existing air conditioner operations in the plant due to the chilled water flow rate of the new air conditioner dropped dramatically from 11L/S to 5L/S and triggered alarms including the evaporator protection alarm and the insufficient flow alarm.
  2. From the test experience, faults were identified from the new chiller. It was required to complete the following four steps to resume the chiller successfully. The complex steps for the resumption of the chiller are undoubtedly abnormal. In addition, the miniature circuit breaker (MCB) is a protective device and its life span will be shortened when used for the purpose of an on/ off switch.

Step 1 Manual reset the fault on the display controller of the chiller

Step 2 Manual switch-off the MCB on the chiller for 3 minutes

Step 3 Manual switch-on the MCB on the chiller

Step 4 Successfully resumption of the chiller normal operation

  1. The new air conditioner has two built-in Variable Frequency Drives (VFD). The display control panels of the VFD were identified as missing in the new air conditioner shown in the attached photos. This made our duty staff and the term contractor unable to monitor the condition and reset any faults of the VFD.
  1. Safety fences shall be installed surrounding the steel working platform for air conditioners to avoid the occurrence of any accidents.

In the wake of the major defects identified from the new air conditioner, there is a high potential risk to cause a whole plant failure. Please arrange for the relevant parties to rectify the defects immediately in order not to suffer any services interruption toll to the building.

Regards

Howard

It is understandable even to this layman, and it seems to be complete and unambiguous. The English isn't perfect, but I see nothing that interferes with communication.
