Seek vs Sought

Hi

I am confused on when to use "seek" and when to use "sought".
Can someone advise with examples in area of business writing? (Examples: telling a colleague about approval from boss)

Ber12 am confused on when to use "seek" and when to use "sought".
'Sought' is just the past tense of 'seek'. Use them as you would any other verb:

I eat sushi every day.
I ate sushi yesterday.
I seek new restaurants e
