Seeing as/that you have already ~~, you ~ (clasues of reason)

Seeing as/that you have already done a lot of work on this project, you might as well finish it.

My book says that's a clause of reason.

Is it itself has that meaning?

If it is broke up, is it 'Because I saw that you have already done ~~~, you~~?'
