Seeing?

Dear Friends,

Could anyone please help me with this:

He has problems with his eyes, so he has difficulty seeing the world around him.

Since in this meaning the verb 'see' is not usually used in the Gerund, what word could be used instead, to give the same meaning?

Thank you very much.

Palinkasocsi Since in this meaning the verb 'see' is not usually used in the gerund... I don't believe that; it seems quite natural. Your sentence is fine as it stands.
