See to

Hi

Is the use of see to natural in these sentences?

I'll go and see to his dinner. [said by a maid]

(...will go and see if his dinner is ready.]

Would you please go and see to the arrangements?

(if the arrangements are complete and all...)

Thanks,

Tom

Yes, but I don't often hear it with "go and". You can easily leave that out.

When said to someone else, it can sound very bossy.

The floor needs to be scrubbed. See to it immediately!

That's a feature of American English. Including "and" after "go" is common in non-American English.

"go and" is also common in American English, but not in the pattern "go and see to ...".
