The worker bee is the janitor keeping the place clean, and police officer seeing that the entrance is guarded.

Q) Do both "that" and whether sound okay in the context above?

Hi I think 'that' is quite right. It says that the worker bee is doing their duty If you used 'whether', it would suggest that the bee is, maybe, not always doing that. It's only a slight change in meaning: - I make sure that everyone is safe - I wonder whether everyone is safe Dave

I think 'that' is quite right. It says that the worker bee is doing their duty

If you used 'whether', it would suggest that the bee is, maybe, not always doing that. It's only a slight change in meaning:

- I make sure that everyone is safe

- I wonder whether everyone is safe
