Which is correct please?

When they google our companies name I'd rather they see/saw X than Y.

Anonymous When they google our companies company's name , I'd rather they see/saw X than Y. I have seen both tenses used after "rather". I accept both, but it's possible that some people have a strong preference for the past and will say that the present is wrong.
