see it in your eyes

I always hear people saying 'I can see it in your eyes" figuratively but still have no clue what it means.

What do you think?

Thanks

Hi, It means that they can see what the person is thinking or at least feeling by looking at his or her face, particularly at their eyes. Do you think people can really do that? Clive
