Is this correct English? Is this the natural way to say it?
Children never see bad in anything. They always think people have good intention.

Children never see any bad in anything. They always think people have good intentions.




Is this the opposite: Do you need the determiner?
Children tend to see the good in people.

This is the most idiomatic way to say it. However, it's not wrong to leave out "the", so you will be understood if you say it like that. That's why I said it was fine (above) without 'the'. (The same is true if you say 'bad' instead of 'good'.)
