These words can have several meanings, so look in a dictionary. Here are a couple of simplified meanings

section - a distinct part of something

This shows clearly that your example should use the word 'section'.

session - a period of time a person spends on a particular activity

eg The 3-hour exam consists of two sessions. There is a 2-hour session in the morning, and another 1-hour session in the afternoon.

The program refers to the content of the workshop, class of instruction, seminar, or, whatever you happen to be referring to, here. Let us assume it is a program intended to improve communication skills. It sounds like that is what it is.

The program has been separated into two parts, or sections. One section deals with presentation
and another with writing. I think you understand that. To say Presentation and Writing makes it sound like one section. If it is allowed, make each a section title, as follows:

There are two sections in this program -- "Presentation," and "Writing."

If that is not allowed, write, "There are two sections in the program -- a section on presentation and a section on writing."

This could be a good application of either bold or the italic feature of the editor.

"Sessions" refers to the individual meetings of participants. A session usually has a leader,
or teacher, and its own topic.
