Secretly/sneakingly/stealthily

They would hide their ships somewhere nearby. Then, secretly/sneakingly/stealthily, they would take a giant wooden horse to the gates of the city.

Hi,
Do all of secretly, sneakingly, and stealthily fit in the above and mean about the same? Thanks.

The meanings are the same, but the registers are all over the place. And actually, all are inaccurate. The Greeks took the horse to the gates overtly and directly, and departed ostentatiously.
