Secretary assistant

Hello

I'm English learner.

I want to know the difference between 'secretary' and 'assistant'.

Could you tell me?

If they are the same, you don't have to force yourself to explain.

but If you have any other opinion about those words, please tell me.

Thank you, people!!

Hi, I assume that you are thinking of an office environment since, for example, an assistant in a store is not a secretary at all. The title of 'secretary' is quite often seen today as rather demeaning, so a number of other titles are commonly used. eg an administrative assistant, eg an associate, eg an assistant.
