Secret place

Dear teachers,
Can I say like this?

He suggested that we should find a secret place to talk to avoid public attention

He suggested that we should find a secret place out of sight of passing passers-by to talk to avoid attracting public attention.

Thank you in advance

I prefer the first sentence, as "secret place" already implies "out of sight of passing passers-by". Or better: He suggested that we should find a secret place to talk. because "secret place" means "avoid public attention".
