Secondary students should not waste too much of their time playing computer games for the following reasons. First of all, spending too much time on computer games does a great deal of harm to the students themselves. They may suffer from short-sightedness, eyesore, backache and even humpback if they play computer games for hours days after days. Some secondary students even get so addicted to computer games that they do not care for eating, drinking and doing exercise. As a result, they may get obesity and their physical conditions are poor. Second, some games that involve violent languages and actions. Consequently, secondary students become ill-mannered and the rate of juvenile delinquency increases. Finally, the school performance of those secondary students who are hooked to computer games is not very good. They do not have enough time to prepare themselves well for school and even if they do, their minds are too exhausted for schoolwork.
