Second conditional or maybe not

I keep on coming back to this exercise and still can't fully get it.

The third year in a raw I think.

Look at the example:

She used factor 12 suntan lotion as she gets sunburned easily

The answer in the key goes as follows:

If she didn't get sunburnt easily, she wouldn't use factor 12 suntan lotion.

I totally get the first part. She gets easily sunburnt, so we speak about it in 2 conditional.

But the second part I don't get at all. If she used it, that means the action was done in the past.

So we should talk about it in third conditional. so it should be:
If she didn't get sunburnt easily she wouldn't have used factor 12 suntan lotion.

And it is a perfect mixed conditional.

For me, the answer from the key would only be correct if the initial sentence went like this:

She uses 12 suntan lotion as she gets sunburned easily.

So two times present - thus 2nd conditional.

Please help!

If the task is to make a compatible sentence of the form "If she ... sunburnt easily, she ... factor 12 suntan lotion" then what you say is correct.
