Season's greetings?

Which is correct:
Season's greetings
or
Seasons greetings ?
In my view, both are acceptable and both are quite common hits on Google.
Thanks,
Asif.

"Seasons", the plural, makes no sense as an adjective modifying "greetings". "Season's greetings" is a shortened form for "greetings of the season" and makes excellent sense.
The apostrophe is necessary; I don't care what you found in Google.

Yes: means the same as "Greetings of the season." Singular

Apparently not in this case, at least.

"seasons' greetings": 254,000 (I prefer this version, just to be different)
