Tennis season hasn't even start yet why are you so nervous?

I use the first one but I don't know why it's started when started is the past tense of start...and we're describing something that hasn't begun...once again with begun...

Is there a grammatical explanation for this?

And you have a run-on sentence as well. 'Started' is not the past tense; it is the past participle. Please review 'present perfect' verb forms in your grammar book or on-line.
