Searching for the right collocation: lucid display?

Hello everyone,

Could somebody possibly help me with the following? I don't know if lucid display is a valid and natural collocation. And I'm not sure about the articles either, so any corrections will be appreciated.

"...
One of the essential benefits of the Purchase module is the lucid display of the items of purchase, so that the user can see the specific list of ordered goods and their status.
..."

Maybe clear would be a better substitution for lucid, and view, represenation, or overview might replace display. As a non-native speaker of English, I can't be sure.

Many thanks in advance!

I don't find "lucid display" natural. Is your audience the customer or fellow advertising experts? For the average man on the street, "clear display" seems best to me.

It implies "uncluttered" and possibly "functional." That is, if multiple items are displayed in one view, their organization promotes an understanding of their use, rather than their simply presenting an attractive eye-cat

I agreed with Avangi, "clear display" or perhaps "clear overview."

Lucid is typically used in conjunction with "thought" or "dreams" or when speaking literally of something that is illuminated by light. I think "clear" is the better choice for your example.

Hi petusek,
I confess I was picturing a typical Amazon page. Had I understood we were talking about something as specialized as accounting software, I might have responded differently. These consumers would be more savvy. (s a v v y)

Hi KJC. I agree. I struggled with it, though, when my dictionary listed this as the second meaning, and gave as the first: "easily understood; clear." I don't think the average person reads it that way.

Either way, we agree that "lucid" is not a good choice.
