Hi,
I would like to ask whether this sentence could have some reasonable meaning:
"while the fans enjoyed her first book, she thought of ideas for the next one"
I thought it could say that, whereas the fans enjoyed the book, she had already ideas for her next book in her mind, but than I realised, there should be a past perfect tense in second part of sentence. Or shouldn't? Could past simple tense emphasise that, she already had these ideas long time? Or can someone manage to find another meaning so, that the sentence is grammatically correct?
