Vocabulary

seamless

I've been writing travel guides since the 80s,so in my own head, I had been growing more seamless towards these places I've been to.

Here's a question from my cyber-friend, could you tell me the meaning of 'seamless'?

Thank you in advance!

Hello Ipod I've not sure "seamless" makes much sense here. "Seamless" means "without visible signs of joining". One common phrase is "a seamless transition".

  • It's difficult to see how a person could gradually "lose the visible signs of joining" with the places that he had visited!
  • Maybe he simply meant "I had been gradually growing more familiar with the places that I had visited".

I guess he means "connected/tied to, immersed in, inseparable"
Not the right word, I think.
