Seam come undone undone at seam

How do you say this?

Do you say " seam came undone at"?
The seam cam undone/the stitch came undone at the seam at the crotch of the dress so I had to sew it.

Thank you

Do dresses have crotches? "The seam came undone" is fine. You can add "at the sleeve" or "at (whatever)".
