Sea view

Hello,

Do we say:

'a room with a sea view"

or 'a room with sea view"?

I thought the first sentence was correct but I saw this sentence in a dictionary:

'a hotel room with sea view'

Maybe both versions are correct?

Thank you for help.

I would have used the article, too, but I can see how either would be acceptable.

"A hotel room with sea view" would be appropriate for an advertisement, where every letter is important and words like "a", "an", "the", "its", "is" and "are" are often omitted. Normally, I would say "room with A sea view" or "room with sea VIEWS". Also, that sentence might be idiomatic in some countries or regions.
