Scuttle

Hi,

I was recently playing a video game where the character walked in a very funny way. He was taking small and quick steps that were followed by rustling noises. Could I use the word ‘scuttle’ or not?

“The character would always scuttle to the front of the screen when I pressed the B button.”

“Look at how the character is scuttling to the front of the screen. It’s hilarious.”

Thank you.
