Scriptal

Dear Forum Users,

In cognitive linguistics a 'script' is a:

schema which involves all the information the comprehender already has, for example, about restaurants: that one normally sits at a table with others, that the food is cooked and then brought to the table by a waiter, that the waiter gets the food from a ...

If I analyse a situation in terms of scripts, can it be a 'scriptal' (???) analysis? In other words, can I coin the adj. 'scriptal' from the n. 'script' in this sense?

I would not do that if I were you. I recommend the simpler 'script analysis'.
