Vocabulary

scribe

Hi,

As far as I know, journalists are sometimes (humorously)called 'scribes'.
Do you think this funny name can also be nicely applied to technical writers (and possibly some other representatives of the 'writing brethren' :-)

Hope you are in a good mood today (and so have nothing against such sort of silly questions :-)

Thanks!

Yes, it applies jocularly to any writer. By the way, I'd prefer a question mark to an emoticon, and "nicely" is odd there.

Can you tell me the right word, then? ( so that I only need to change this 'nicely', leaving the rest of the sentence intact?)
